First Time on Film Set

Caged Birds Film Shot on Southern Methodist University my alma mater.

This entry recalls my experience on set.

first film SMU- Caged Birds

I sat on set as a  background extra in for a film hoping to be in the film and get seen and for my career to take off!

I sat there for days 4pm to 3 am in the morning I was in the scene but I wasn’t in the shot!

Do you hear what I’m saying I was in the making of the movie but I was not actually in the camera’s lens

I saw how everything worked how moved the ins and outs but it was simply not my SCENE.

We have time in our lives where things are happening to others around us and we think its for us and when it doesn’t happen for us we despise and envy that person or situation because we didn’t benefit

I’ve been that person

I’ve been there before

I wanted my chance my opportunity now

Whats for you is not what you think is for you and what he has for your is beyond your wildest imagination but if you won’t cheer and some support someone else and sit patiently and admire their moment how can you expect someone to admire you and support yours

Timing is essential we won’t everything now but we couldn’t handle if we got it we’d lose it faster than we got it
